The Sun God’s Heir: Return by Elliot Baker

The Sun God’s Heir: Return (Book 1)

For three thousand years a hatred burns.

The year is 1671. René Gilbert’s destiny glints from the blade of a slashing rapier. To protect those he loves he must regain the power and knowledge earned in an ancient lifetime.

From Bordeaux to Spain to Morocco, René is tested and with each turn of fate he gathers enemies and allies as the memory and power of a past life returns.

Now, an ancient foe is bent on the destruction of all René holds dear, and time is running out.

“In 1671 Bordeaux, as the novel opens, René Gilbert has just slain three men in self-defense. In disgust, he lays his sword at his Maestro’s feet, vowing never to kill again. That resolution doesn’t last long, however; two years later, René, now 18, must take up his sword to avenge a friend in a duel over a woman’s honor. Alexandre Dumas meets Horatio Hornblower and The Mummy in this sweeping, swashbuckling tale.”Kirkus Reviews

“The Sun God’s Heir: Return, is an epic story, taking you into a time where actions and words ripple from the past into the present and then invade the future. A truly remarkable story.”Readers Favorite
